Cookie policy
Which cookies we use, why, and how to manage them.
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Summary
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any data collected on this site. The few cookies and similar technologies we rely on either keep the site working or help us understand, in aggregate, which content actually helps prospective clients.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. “Similar technologies” include local storage and pixel-free analytics. Together they let a site remember a preference, keep a session active, or count a page view.
What we use, and why
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and stay secure, including our content-delivery provider’s protective cookies. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages help prospective clients. It sets the first-party cookies
_ga(distinguishes visitors) and_ga_<container>(keeps track of a browsing session), each lasting up to 2 years (some browsers cap these lifetimes further). Reports are aggregate; Google does not show us IP addresses and uses them transiently to estimate approximate location. For how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. - Functional — remembers limited preferences, such as whether you have dismissed a notice. No third party reads these.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not sell data collected on this site.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. The site works without analytics cookies; blocking them will not break anything.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the technologies we use change. The “last updated” date above tracks the latest revision.
